Getting Started

Get acquainted before committing to care.

Choosing a healthcare provider is a personal decision, and we believe both patients and providers benefit from getting to know one another before establishing care.

Every new patient is invited to schedule a complimentary, 15-minute virtual meet-and-greet. From there, we’ve designed a straightforward onboarding process that gives you time to prepare and allows your provider to become familiar with your health history and priorities before your first medical appointment.

Your First Steps

Schedule Your First Appointment & Create Your Patient Portal Account

Plan Your Next Steps Together

This complimentary virtual call is an opportunity for you and your prospective provider to ask questions, discuss what you’re looking for, and determine whether working together makes sense.

It’s a conversation about mutual fit, available services, or resources worth exploring. Our intention is for you to leave the conversation with a useful next step, whether or not you become a patient.

If you decide to move forward together, you’ll receive instructions for scheduling your first appointment.

Book Your Free Intro Call →

Following your introductory call, you’ll receive a scheduling link for your first comprehensive virtual consultation.

During scheduling, you’ll provide some basic information, select your communication preferences, and create an account through our secure patient portal.

A $95 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your initial appointment. This amount is applied toward the cost of your consultation.

Your provider begins preparing for your care before the appointment itself, reviewing the information you submit and identifying areas that may warrant further discussion or evaluation. The deposit reserves time for both your appointment and the preparation that goes into it.

Complete Your Intake & Consent Forms

Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive access to your intake paperwork and consent forms through the patient portal.

Please plan to spend approximately 30 minutes completing these documents and aim to submit them within 24-48 hours of scheduling.

You’ll be asked about your personal and family medical history, current concerns, medications and supplements, lifestyle habits, previous treatments, goals for care, and more. You’ll also review important information about the practice and provide the necessary consents.

We encourage patients to schedule their initial appointments with enough time to complete these forms thoughtfully. Your provider reviews this information in advance, allowing your first consultation to build on what you’ve already shared rather than beginning from scratch.

Complete Your Intake & Consent Forms

Your first naturopathic medical appointment takes place virtually.

With your completed intake and available medical records as a starting point, your provider will explore your health concerns, ask follow-up questions, discuss your priorities, and begin determining appropriate next steps with you.

These may include further evaluation, laboratory testing, individualized recommendations, continued virtual care, or an in-person appointment.

If you’re considering home visits, your provider will also discuss whether that setting is appropriate. You may be asked to show the proposed appointment space using your camera so your provider can consider practical and clinical requirements before scheduling.

Following your initial consultation, you and your provider can determine what ongoing care makes sense for your needs and circumstances.

Some patients continue with virtual appointments. Others arrange an initial home visit, followed by virtual or in-person care as appropriate.

There is no requirement to purchase a membership or commit to a predetermined series of medical appointments. Your provider will discuss the options available, their associated fees, and the recommended next steps.

Interested in a Specific Therapeutic Treatment or Service?

Some CNHC providers offer specialized services with their own intake and appointment processes.

For example, patients seeking craniosacral therapy may begin with a service-specific initial appointment rather than a comprehensive naturopathic medical consultation. Individual sessions and treatment packages may be available.

Visit your provider’s profile for details about their services and how to schedule.
